One of the aspects of marketing and advertising that many companies do not account for is how it impacts the efforts of their Human Resources team. And if they do not have a team, how it impacts the efforts that have for setting a positive company culture and in hiring good employees. Right now you might be scratching your head and thinking I am stretching a bit far, but you’ll see.

Employees are aware. They see the content that is being put out, or the fact that there isn’t any being put out. And if you have a competitor that is publishing great content that showcases the work their team is doing, then you are screwed. People want to be recognized for their efforts. And the bigger the exposure you can give them when it comes to handing out praise, the better. So if your team accomplishes some amazing goal and you share that, as any good advertising campaign should, across a vast array of networks, then you are showcasing their efforts and helping them feel proud of the work they are doing.

Creating content that showcases the culture of the company also attracts people that are of a similar mindset and builds a desire to work at your company. That makes it really nice when you go to make your next hire. Instead of having to explain who you are and what you stand for, the culture of your company is already out there and the candidates should know what they are getting themselves into.
